Effective date: July 16, 2026

Bear's Pairs ("Bear's Pairs," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. By using our services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information processed through:

  • the Bear's Pairs website and online shop;
  • the Bear's Pairs customer mobile application;
  • the Bear's Pairs business application used by authorized administrators, manufacturers, and inventory personnel; and
  • related customer support, order, payment, inventory, and communication services.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, password credentials in protected form, role, and account status.
  • Order and delivery information: products, quantities, sizes, colors, order history, recipient name, phone number, delivery address, city, and postal code.
  • Payment information: payment amount, currency, transaction identifiers, payment status, card brand, and masked card details supplied by our payment provider. We do not intend to store full payment-card numbers or security codes.
  • Business and inventory information: articles, stock, production items, NFC identifiers, labels, materials, sales records, uploaded images, invoices, artwork, and related operational files.
  • Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, timestamps, diagnostic information, and interactions with our services where available.
  • Communications: information you include when contacting support, requesting a password reset, or subscribing to updates.

We collect information you provide, information generated when you use our services, and limited information received from service providers involved in fulfilling your request.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • create, authenticate, secure, and manage accounts;
  • display products and operate carts, orders, and payments;
  • fulfil purchases and provide delivery and customer support;
  • manage production, inventory, sales, and authorized staff;
  • send transactional messages and requested marketing updates;
  • detect fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical problems;
  • improve the reliability and usability of our services; and
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

  • payment providers, including Yoco, to process and verify payments;
  • hosting, cloud storage, image-hosting, email, support, analytics, and security providers, including Cloudinary where used;
  • delivery partners and authorized personnel who need the information to fulfil an order or perform assigned business tasks;
  • professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
  • a buyer or successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business.

We do not sell personal information for money. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by law.

5. Mobile app permissions

Our mobile apps may request access to device features such as:

  • NFC: to read or write supported product and production-item tags when you initiate an NFC feature.
  • Camera and photo library: to capture, select, upload, and verify product, article, inventory, or production images.
  • Files and documents: to select or preview invoices, artwork, inventory documents, and other files you choose to use.

Permissions are used only for the described app features. You can control them through your device settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.

6. Local storage and retention

Our website and apps may use browser local storage, session storage, secure device storage, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember carts and preferences, and support app functionality.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, and operational requirements. The retention period varies by data type and purpose. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required, subject to lawful backup and recordkeeping needs.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • access, correct, or receive a copy of your personal information;
  • request deletion or restriction of certain processing;
  • object to certain processing or withdraw consent;
  • unsubscribe from marketing communications; and
  • complain to an applicable data-protection authority.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law. You can submit a request using the contact details below.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, or a higher age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without legally valid consent. If you believe a child has provided information to us improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. International transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy laws may differ across those locations. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password and notify us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
